The box

In late 2011, I inherited – from my great uncle – a small recipe box. The box had been given to him in 1962 by his mother (my great grandmother) and included all her best loved recipes as well as those of her mother, mother-in-law and her grandmother among others. In addition, my uncle had added all his favourites. The recipes therefore represent an unbroken culinary family history stretching back five generations and possibly further.

We have decided to bring these recipes back to life.
